Ciao, my name is Joe and I am the founder of Rainbow Fresh, a South Australian grower and processor of leafy salad greens. I am an energetic 85-year-old and have been passionate about lettuce for most of my life. Now, I feel it is time to spread that passion wider and support the community by raising funds for charity. I am participating in the World's Greatest Shave on September 22nd to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation, which is an organization that provides support and information to individuals facing blood cancer, as well as funds research projects aimed at discovering better ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer. Did you know that 53 Australians are diagnosed with blood cancer every day and 16 will lose their lives? That's why I believe it's crucial to support this cause.
