It is a humbling statistic, but today 31 Australians will get the news they have a form of blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders. Just put yourself in their position for a minute and imagine the impact it would have on your life, and the lives of your family, if you were one of those 31 Australians. We owe it to ourselves to help find a cure to these disorders and ease the suffering of those that have already fallen victim to these insidious disorders.

One of the best ways to do that is to support the non-profit Leukaemia Foundation help these victims through programs that fund:

Important research into blood cancers and disorders for the betterment of the global sufferers of the disease.
Support for the Australian victims of these insidious conditions and their families.
The Leukaemia Foundation receive no ongoing governmental support in providing these services and rely on fundraising activities. Chief amongst them is the World’s Greatest Shave.

I have decided to participate in this years edition and have set a target of $500.00. If I raise over that amount (even by 1 cent) my head hair, shoulder hair, and chest hair will be shaved. Currently I am with the last $100 and the final 7 days. I would like to thank all those who have donated to date and all those that will.
