I’m helping to beat blood cancer by taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave!
I have been growing my hair for the past 7 years.
My grandpa has been diagnosed with Polycythaemia vera which is a rare form of blood cancer. I have decided to raise money for the World's Greatest Shave by cutting my hair and donating the funds towards cancer research.
I will be cutting off at least 55cm of hair to donate to make a wig for a child or girl who has lost her own hair through cancer treatment.
If I raise $5,000 my mum will cut her hair with me.
Please help me by donating to this cause. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
With no screening programs available and no means of prevention through lifestyle changes, blood cancer is Australia's hidden cancer crisis.
Every day, 53 Aussies are diagnosed with blood cancer, and 16 will lose their life.
We can't delay taking action together.
That's why I've decided to take part in the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave.
I'll be raising crucial funds that help give those facing blood cancer all the support and information they need, while driving breakthrough research projects discovering better ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer.
You have the power to help me make an extraordinary difference.
Big or small, every donation counts.
Will you help by sponsoring me?
