Sponsor me and you’ll help me achieve so much!
Every day, 35 Australians will get the news they have blood cancer. Across Australia, 60,000 people are going through this right now.
As some of you know, I participated in the World's Greatest Shave, for the third time, early in 2018 and this time I want to try something new while still continuing to support the Leukaemia Foundation.
So...
In November 2019 I will be joining a group of travelers to trek the Kokoda Trail to help raise awareness and vitals funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. Thats 96km through rugged mountains and lush rainforest, learning about the history of the Track and experiencing the local Papuan culture.
How can you help?
If you are in a position to help make a difference, please donate to my cause by clicking on the blue 'Sponsor Me' button at the top of the page. Your money could help in the following ways:
-- $27 provides a cancer information pack to help a family prepare for the challenges ahead
-- $36 gives emotional support after diagnosis to help someone through the shock and distress
-- $52 supports someone during hospital visits with a qualified Cancer Support Team
-- $80 provides accommodation for a regional family for a night, keeping people together during treatment
-- $120 funds scholarships to support major blood cancer research projects
Thanks in anticipation!!!
